Pet Grooming is priced as a package, the rate is based on the size of the pet, the amount of work involved in the trim, and the condition and behavior of your pet. 

For an idea of what to expect for a price, here are some examples of basic costs by breed.  Please note, these are approximations! For a more accurate quote, please call the groomers and describe your pet!  These prices are for a well behaved pet, in decent, shape getting a standard grooming package.

Regular Grooming Package.

• Yorkshire terrier, simple clip and groom package = 39-45$
• Mini-Poodle simple trim, no fancy clip, under 15 lbs= 40-45$
• Cocker Spaniel, under 30lbs, full clip down, =40-50$
• Springer Spaniel with breed trim=45-55$
• Standard Poodle summer clip down, good shape =65-75$
• Standard Poodle summer clip, matted= 70$-80$
• Golden Retreiver in breed trim, under 80lbs= 65-75$
• Golden Retreiver over 80lbs or full clip for summer= 70$ and up
• Goldendoodle clip down, under 70 lbs =65-75$
• Long haired cats=65$ and up
• Beagle or pug for bath,nails etc.  30$-40$

Our pet boarding services are unlike any other in the Capital region, we only take well socialized, family pets and then we treat them like family! 

 How it works

You drop off your dog the day you leave, and he/she can have a room to call his/her own. We do require your pet to be truly housebroken and NOT destructive!  Also, we check for evidence of fleas when you drop off.  If fleas are suspected, we require you to buy a flea bath before we can board your pet. Each room comes with a choice of bed or blanket, a TV and/or radio for company, plus a fenced yard to run in at least 3 times per day.   As long as your dog is housebroken and non-distructive, there is never a need to use cages!  During the work day, the groomer can watch over your pet, in the evenings, our kennel manager sleeps on the property so your pet is never without company and supervision! 

On-Site care 7 days a week

• No cold concrete runs.
• No unnecessary caging!
• Pets have the run of a room, just like at home, as long as they are not distructive.
• Pets can romp/play in our fenced area with supervision.
• Pets can be hand walked up to 3 times a day, if needed, for an additional fee.
• Great for spoiled or aging pets
• medications given as directed.
• warm accommodations for sleeping.
• Multiple pets (from the same household) can be housed together, which helps to avoid separation anxiety.

We charge a flat rate of 10$ for the day you drop off your pet and 10$ for the day you pick up you pet. The days in between are charged the full rate, which is determined according to your pet's size, and socialization level.

•  Toy/Small dogs (under 20 lbs) usually 13-15$ a day plus the day-in and day-out charges.(which always total 20$)
• Medium dogs (20-40lbs) about 14-17$ per day plus DI and DO charges(always20$)
• Large dogs (40-65lbs) about 16-20$ per day, (plus the DI/DO charge 20$)
• Giant Dogs (over 65 lbs) about 18-25$ per day, (plus the 20$ DI/DO charge)
• Cats are always 10$ per day flat rate

When you drop off your pet, you pay just 10$ for that day, the next day you are charged the Full rate for each day until the day you pick up your pet.  The pick up day is also charged only a flat fee of 10$, instead of the full rate.  We also discount for multiple pets and stays over a week in length, so be sure to ask about these discounts when you make your boarding appointment.

Please keep in mind, every pet is different, with different boarding needs, these prices are based on a well behaved dog or cat, who is dropped off and picked up in our public hours and who is without extra care issues such as medications, aggression or housebreaking issues.  (We are not currently set up to care for wild, unsociable or unruly pets)Please expect to pay more per day if your pet is not truly housebroken!
